This Nolus changelog is about the past three months, in which Nolus went live on Solana and every surface followed. The protocol opened its Solana markets and kept adding to them, the dApp was rebuilt around margin markets and gained Buy Now Pay Later, Nolus Lens arrived as the protocol's own explorer, the indexer opened new feeds for integrators, and nolus.io and docs.nolus.io were rewritten around spot margin on Solana.
Protocol & Contracts
Margin on Solana is live. The new Nolus money market, described as built and tested in the previous edition, went live by governance vote, and a USDC market for long positions opened the next day. Slippage protection now checks the oracle price first on every swap a position makes, whether opening, repaying, closing, or liquidating, and under Market Anomaly Guard (MAG) a liquidation that would fill below its floor is held, not sold, until it is re-assessed.
More markets, more assets. Short markets for SOL, cbBTC, and WETH followed, and the USDC market added JLP, PUMP, ZEC, JUP, and RAY, along with NVDAx, a token that tracks Nvidia. A contract upgrade also lets a market hold a larger basket of assets than before.
Positions clean up after themselves. Once a closed or liquidated position settles, the storage it held on Solana is released instead of left behind. For users, the practical impact is more to trade, with every fill checked first.
Web App
Margin markets first. The app now opens on Margin Markets, browsable without a wallet: a picker over every market with its price, 24h change, and open interest, the chosen market's long and short split and average leverage beside its chart, and the user's positions managed below it. A horizontal navbar replaced the sidebar, with Home renamed Margin.
Buy Now Pay Later. Users can now get the full amount of an asset such as SOL while paying only 50% or 75% of its price in USDC today, through a new Pay Later entry. The rest is paid whenever they like, with interest due monthly, and the purchase holds the real asset in the meantime. A purchases list offers one Pay action and warns when a falling price brings a purchase close to being partly sold. Paying one off moves the asset into the user's account.
Clearer leverage, up to 5x. The open form's slider reads in multipliers up to each market's limit and opens on 3x by default, and a ladder of up to three liquidation levels shows where selling would start before opening.
A self-explaining position page. A health gauge with price tags, Back to Healthy and Room to Moderate guidance, and one status alert per running operation, from opening to stop-loss, take-profit, partial liquidation, and MAG, show what is happening and what to do next.
A searchable account history. Activities became one searchable feed with category filters, realized PnL on closing rows, one combined tax export, and every position's full log.
Revenue Share in the app. The program arrived with a dashboard widget, joining through a referral link, and payout rows in Activities.
Sharper and steadier. One table system runs across the app, the Share PnL card was redrawn and works for closed positions, /stats gained liquidity meters, price charts no longer blink, and amount fields refuse malformed numbers. The backend now composes every transaction and picks its fee, a failed delivery is no longer reported as a success, and Solana wallet balances update live as well; it was also hardened and its dependencies kept current. The net effect is fewer surprises from the first tap to the last.
Nolus Lens
Nolus Lens launched at lens.nolus.io in the app's design, with transactions, accounts, positions, search, governance, and stats in one place. For users, the practical impact is one familiar place to look up any transaction, account, or proposal.
Blockchain Data & Indexing (ETL)
Fresh data feeds. The indexer's supplied and borrowed history now drives the deposited and borrowed chart on /stats from the Solana launch. It also publishes token amounts beside USD figures for pools and position holdings. For users, the practical impact is a clearer picture on /stats and TVL figures that third-party dashboards can price themselves.
nolus.io
A redesigned public website. The homepage now leads with spot margin on Solana, up to 5x, at a fixed rate with partial-liquidation safeguards, and tells the Built to Hold story beside live figures; About, Governance, Brand, and the blog were rebuilt to match. Pages load faster, keyboard focus and reduced-motion preferences are respected, and outdated wording was cleared from every page and machine-readable file, so the site describes the protocol as it works today.
Docs
docs.nolus.io was rewritten for Nolus on Solana: the four live markets, positions that hold the real assets, swaps routed through Metis, and Phantom and Solflare as the supported wallets. Every page reads in one voice at shorter URLs, with the old ones redirecting to them, and one canonical security policy lives there. Agent discovery files now point AI clients at the app's REST API, in-page WebMCP, and command-line contract help, while the nolus.js SDK and its MCP server were deprecated. The practical effect is that developers and AI-assisted tools find one current description of the protocol.
